| Why: | The Provider submitted an Invoice to the Client for approval. |
- Head to Worklist > All
- Go to the Invoices Tab and click on Invoices Submitted By Provider for Approval.
- Click the Action/Acquire/Takeover (N1) button next to the invoice you wish to approve/reject/hold.
- Note: Clicking the Invoice Number (N2) takes you to the Manage Invoice screen. Invoices cannot be approved from this screen.
- On the Review Invoice screen, check the Invoice details (N3).
- After reviewing the Invoice, take ONE of the following actions.
Approve:
- If the Invoice Total is Within Your Approval Limit:
- Enter your Approve/Reject/Hold Comment (N4) and click Approve (N5).
- If the Invoice Total Exceeds Your Approval Limit:
- The Review Invoice screen will display a warning that the approval amount exceeds your limit (N6).
- Instead of the Approve button, you’ll see a Financial Escalation button (N7).
- Enter your Approve/Reject/Hold Comment, then click Financial Escalation.
- A pop-up window will appear. Select the Approval Workgroup and optionally specify the Approval Manager you’d like to send it to.
- Click Submit.
Reject/Hold:
- If the Invoice needs to be Rejected or Put on Hold:
- Enter your Reason in the Approve/Reject/Hold Comment field.
- For rejection, click the Rejct button. The provider can resubmit if needed.
- To put the invoice on hold, click Hold
- Enter your Reason in the Approve/Reject/Hold Comment field.
